Dawn of a new day
I am posting today from my new computer. Many friends who know my computing desires intimately know that I have wanted a Mac for some time now. And most of them have tried to dissuade me. Last Wednesday I unpacked the pretty box to find an even prettier 20" iMac w/ 2GB ram inside.
Migrating files became much easier when I stopped trying to use the iMac like a Windows machine. It has not been serendipitously easy; rather a simple puzzle for a computer vet. It was not as challenging as Ubuntu but much more simple than reinstalling XP on the PC or setting up and migrating to a new PC.
I'm a fanboy in the making. It is important to note that I don't think XP (or Microsoft for that matter) "sucks" but that this tech-curious tangent is a facet of my computer hobby. Microsoft definitely has work to do before I try another one of their OSs.
