I got a nifty one cup coffee maker for Christmas. I only drink 2 cups/day and I like being able to have two different flavors. Well the one Santa got a "great deal" has had more mood swings than...well a lot of mood swings.

It seems that I don't hold my face right some mornings and the damn thing pretends it's going to work and then doesn't want to work. There is nothing more maddening to me than an early morning coffee tease. I didn't know I was capable of man-on-small-appliance-violence. The other morning the damn thing is teasing me and I go off. The wife starts yelling at me yelling and tells me to just go get a new one.

Now I'm coffee machine shopping. There are so many choices. I never thought I'd have to look-up something like coffee pod compatibility. I know this whole one cup deal is a scam but I'm weak. Now I'm confused on whether I should go to fresh ground beans.

Pray for me people. And pray for the coffee machines.
